The thing I did not anticipate is how much my two kids would want to do this together. My five year old and my three year old take turns adding ornaments and then they trade and redo the whole thing. It has become a little daily ritual for them. No small pieces means I can let the younger one play without hovering the entire time. The felt is soft and the ornaments grip really well.
